Because this group is broad, judging a listing on freshness, turnover and how consistent recent reviews are tends to work better than judging by decor or price range alone. Most kitchens in Augusta will adjust a dish for common dietary needs like gluten-free or vegetarian if you ask when ordering. Hours vary widely: diners and fast-food chains often stay open late or around the clock, while bakeries and cafes tend to open early and close mid-afternoon. Catering and food delivery businesses in Georgia usually require advance notice, from a day for a small order up to a week or more for a large event, so it is worth contacting them early.
Hours are published for 6 days a week. The most common schedule is 5β10 pm. Note that it does not open on Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. Augusta is in Georgia, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Augusta is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Georgia's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

This was an absolutely amazing dining experience from start to finish. The atmosphere felt warm and inviting β¨, and the staff managed that perfect balance of being attentive without hovering. The cocktail menu was particularly interesting πΈ, featuring familiar classics with unexpected twists, notes, and finishes, if youβre into that. As someone who loves trying new drinks, I was excited to explore, though I have a personal barometer for cocktail programs: how many quality drinks can be made without citrus? Thatβs a surprisingly short list at most places. Letβs just say round two ended up being a vodka ginger ale π. The real star of the evening was the pork chop π₯©. Not only was it phenomenal, but the kitchen thoughtfully split it in the back and plated it separately for us, which was such a small gesture yet spoke volumes about their attention to detail. It has officially claimed the number two spot on my personal pork chop rankings, just edging past Grand Lux, though Seasons 52 still holds the crown. Then came the plot twist. After enthusiastically cleaning our plates, we found ourselves debating whether the incredible accompaniment was couscous or whipped potatoes π€. We were bo

Beautiful restaurant, excellent service, great food. Best restaurant in Augusta! Fresh delicious ingredients, perfectly cooked and seasoned, beautifully presented. Had a wonderful time, the deviled eggs, halibut and pavlova were my favorites, but everything was excellent.

This was our first visit, and I must tell you, I was very impressed. Our server Sophia was the best. She took very good care of me, my wife and daughter, and I can see where it comes from. The General Manager Anna Claire was greeting patrons at their table and she stopped at ours and asked how were things. I told her that I would have liked my oysters rockefeller were to lite and she had another order prepared for me without hesitation. I told her I was ok because I had already eaten 5 of the 12 and I didn't want to waste any, but she had another order prepared and they were delicious of course. She also introduced me to their broiled oysters and she brought 2 out for me to try,and I told her they would be on my order Our next visit.

Tucked into the evening like a well-kept secret, Able Brown delivered an experience that felt both elevated and deeply inviting. From the start, our server struck that rare balance of being both highly knowledgeable and genuinely personable, guiding us through the menu with ease and insight. The ambiance carried a calm, unhurried rhythm, the kind that lets you fully arrive and settle in. We began with the oysters, impeccably fresh, and loved the opportunity to explore a variety of them in one sitting. The deviled eggs deserve their own moment of reverence, easily the best Iβve ever had. The only tragedy was that there were three, forcing us into a playful exercise of restraint and fairness as we split the last one. A small but memorable detail was the hot sauce served with a glass dropper, allowing for precise customization. It felt thoughtful, intentional, and quietly luxurious. The flounder was, without exaggeration, extraordinary. Perfectly cooked with a delicate crisp, beautifully seasoned, and entirely free of heaviness. Every bite felt intentional, clean, and somehow a little bit magical. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary, and the team went the extra step of dec

Overall a mid experience made delightful by great service. Our waiter Nick has only been there for 8 months but he had incredible knowledge of the menu and ingredients (and what he didn't know, he checked with the chef and got back to us). Our table got the crab cake appetizer and for entrees swordfish and porkchop. The crab cakes were absolutely delicious. I would go back for them. My husband enjoyed the swordfish and had a clean plate by the end of his meal. My porkchop was cooked to death and the prawns were so burnt and rubbery. Not worth the $20 add on. I felt so conflicted about returning the meal but for the price, I needed something I enjoyed. My server thanked us for the honesty and the manager brought out what was initially my second choice, short ribs. Now THOSE are something to write home about. Deliciously tender, with mashed potatoes and greens. A little oversalted/seasoned but much better than whatever happened with the porkchop that night. I am not much of a drinker but my husband said his cocktail was JUST as it should be. Overall I wouldn't be back for a full meal but perhaps an appetizer. I appreciate the staff making the experience more enjoyable but replacing m
